School Community Project- Perspective of Place
For my community project, we took images of the Goose Hallow MAX station. We took several different angles of the max train going by to form a scrambled train with roughly pieced together train tracks, and the middle waiting area. We didn't want to just show the empty tracks so when we took our photos, we waiting for the train to go by, snapping images. We also wanted for the viewer to have to actually piece together what images we used and what the scattered images are of.

Cyanotypes
Cyanotypes is a photographic printing process that makes a cyan blue print which is equal amounts of blue and green together. In the 20th century, they used it for reproducing cheap and simple copies of drawings known as blueprints.
Polaroid Lifts and Transfers is when you transfer a polaroid picture's top layer (emulsion layer) onto print paper.

Polaroid Lifts and Transfers
1.)Grab your polaroid photo
2.)Sand the surface lightly to remove the glossy look
3.)Print the image you are trying to attach on the polaroid
4.)Grab Gesso (which is a paint that dries hard onto the surface making the image stiff) and cover the area of the polaroid photo
5.)Trim the photo to match the dimensions of the polaroid,
6.)Cover the photo with mod podge(glue that attaches paper to other fabrics) and place it onto the polaroid
7.)Let it completely dry
8.)Spray the back of the photo with water and lightly rub off the paper back to see the almost final product
9.)Lastly, spray the photo with a UV protective spray( protects the photo from the sun while making it look glossy) to restore it to its formal glory
